RDS National Crafts Competition Travelling Exhibition
22nd October to November 8th 2010 at The Courtyard
In 2010 The Courtyard celebrates its milestone tenth anniversary by hosting the travelling exhibition of winning entries in the RDS National Crafts Competition. This important competition, organized in association with the Crafts Council of Ireland, has been held annually since 1968, is adjudicated by an international panel of judges, and showcases the best of Irish craftsmanship from both amateur and professional designers. Some of Ireland's most noted craft makers have been past winners of this prestigious competition.
We are honoured to host this exhibition, which visits only two venues outside of Dublin, and hope that interested craft makers as well as the general public will be able to visit, to enjoy, to learn and to draw inspiration from this celebration of excellence.
